im sorry i wasnt able to find an answer to my question by browsing through the forum or my google fu is weak.

my question is about a recent purchase. parkside point interior. i noticed that it will allow me to install it for daz 4 or daz 3. i havnt made the leap yet to using only daz studio 4 and usually use daz studio 3. if i only install it in daz studio 3 i can still use it in daz studio 4 by migrating my content. is there any benefit if i also install it into daz 4? or is it more harmfull fo some reason?

thanks in advance

Yes, the DS3 version should generally work in DS4 but not vice versa. There are exceptions - material settings for Victoria 4 won't work on Genesis 2 female (assuming you have the Victoria 4 for genesis 2 female set) unless you are using the DS4 .duf files, for example - but with props it's fairly safe.

I usually use DS 3 Advanced as my workhorse, but I do use DS 4.0 Pro for Genesis 1, and I'm able to "point" my DS 4.0 to look for items, such as props, in my DS 3 Runtime. There's really no need to install in both, and it will certainly take up less space on your hard drive that way.
