Daz Renders not staying true to (Nvidia Iray) preview

This is a really odd one, and not sure what the actual issue is.

I've tried multiple times now, that the renders that Daz render once you click "Render" don't produce the same result as your preview in the Aux Viewport when it's set to Nvidia Iray.

An example would be, that the preview shows that make-up/eyes are correctly applied, but then when you click "Render", the whites of the eyes might turn red, because the eye color or MATs were ultimately incorrectly applied.

I would automatically assume of course, that this had something to do with the Render settings or lighting, though, fiddling around with the settings, I still get the same results.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

  • Bear in mind that the preview is controlled by the Draw Settings pane, not Render Settings. I suspect that the isue arises from soem feature (perhaps SSS/Translucence) not being on in the preview.
