#87 Candles Light The Darkness
Wow! How did you manage so many figures?
I made these low poly count foot soldiers. Because they are low poly, they use up less resources so its possible to put more of them in the shot. Their texture sizes are reasonable too. They are good for filling up backgrounds.

On the Prowl
On The Prowl is a great shot! I love the setup and how you managed to get the one airship to look so distant. Definitely one of those skills I lack and need to work on. Great image.

Cave to Explore
The comic book cover experiment is definitely a success. May I just say "wow!"
Thanks. Just trying to get back into the swing of things.

Lookin' Both Ways
Oh, that's a very cool image. Great camera angle. :)
Thanks KM, I wasn't sure what I was going to get, I set the camera lens to cylindrical. And unexpected surprise experiment. I did a spherical one too.

Another Couple Filter
Through The Forest looks great. I like that style very much. Of the two others with the filters, my favorite is the second one. It's a great image. Nice to see you rendering again.
Love the use of the different filters. The girl in One Day at a Time does not look like she is having a good day.
Thanks! I've been doing some experiments with a free filter package from Topaz Labs, that's the same company that make the Simplify and Clean plugins for photoshop, and they have a free version called Topaz Studio with dozens of filter presets, so I've been trying them out. You basically load a render and you get a list of thumbs with the various effects. You just click and see how it looks. Some work really well, others perhaps not, it really depends on the lighting of the base render that's made before runnning through the filters. TopazStudio is avaialble here http://www.topazlabs.com?hr=ORLq8
I did have to register an email to download and use it. Didn't have to pay anything. There's plenty of options. And supposedly it can run the Topaz photoshop plugins as well, though I haven't tried that yet.
