Hello!

I'm getting this error message when spot rendering at maximum quality.

The render is producing washed out skin as you can see in the image, and I don't know if this has any relationship to the error message.

Are the two related?

Depending on the answer, my next question might be how to fix my lighting; in which case I'll submit more information in a subsequent post...

I am getting that error message during "nonspot" renders too.

When I see it, I cancel the render - because it's not only washed out, the textures just aren't there - it seems to be SSS (just a suspicion, because it is always the human skin that goes missing) - and restart Dazstudio, load the scene, render ...
Don't ask me for an explanation, please.

    LOL, I totally understand.

I ended up shutting off all the lights that came in the preset (uber? Really?) except for one spot, and here's what I ended up with. Still lots to be done; it's a concept piece I'm thinking of for one of the contests... But so far, yeah...I'd buy her a drink! :-)

But that's the odd thing; so far very few lighting presets have EVER worked for me. I just have to add my own and I always seem to get much better results.

The hair is "Actual Hair", which I've been messing about with for the last 2 or 3 hours, and the dress is some morphing thing that seemed to fit. That's a sheer see-through part on the shoulders, not a double-image.
