The Data file under the runtime has Gen 2 files and these are poser files for genisis 2.
In Data file outside non of the Gen figures have poser files for genisis.
Do I need to reinstall both Genesis Starter Essentials and Genesis Starter Essentials PoserCF into the Daz3d/Content folder to fix these so the correct poser files for Genisis 1 and 2 are created??
Cheers Rowlando
Reinstalling to DAZ 3D/Content would be a good idea. Both DS and the DSON Importer for Poser will look for the Data folder outside of Runtime -- Poser won't look in Runtime\Data at all.
I just double checked.. I also have that secondary data folder in Runtime\DSON\auto_adapted. It houses the geometry and pmd files for Genesis content. Auto_adapted\content_files houses the CR2 files.
DSON folder structure is annoying. lol
Thanks I am re installing the files and seeing how things work out.
Cheers
Hey just thought I would let you know, I have found multipul instances of a Daz folder in my documents folder and now one in my C:/ PoserPro folder.
Poser loads the Gen1 from its C:/drive and loads Gen2 from my documents folder.
Its become a real mess to navigate so I am having to search and modify what I find.
What a mess, thanks for the help.

If you are using the DSON importer, try installing the Genesis Starter Essentials and Poser companion files to a separate external runtime. Point the Poser library at this runtime. Make certain this runtime can be written to.
