Having horrible time installing content lately

I'm not talking morphs.... It's like clothing, characters etc.... I purchase and install with the manager. Sometimes the item can be tracked down in the content Library, ( checking poser formats etc). Sometimes It won't... Sometimes I have to open and Close DAZ, and when I reopen the program a little more of the product is available (in the case of a bundle)

My lack of understanding always makes me think It's my fault but, this is getting a little ridiculous

When using the DIM, you can go to the Installed tab, select an item, right click on it, and select Installed Files.

This will show you what has been installed and where it has been installed to. I always make sure that DAZ Studio is not running when I am installing via DIM, and I have very few problems with it. Metadata should install automatically, but that would not affect the Content Library pane anyway, since it does not use Metadata.

If you can give a recent example, I can check to see if the item installed correctly for me. Sometimes, new items are incomplete, due to human error, and you will usually find a thread on the subject if that is the case.

If you install the packages with Daz Studio open, you have to refresh the view. I usually just install content with DS closed. Next time you open it, the new content will be high lighted.
