Geo Shells and LIE Layers...

I am relitively new to daz studio and was wondering if there is a good place to see tutorials for geo shells and lie layers and if so where. Thank you to anyone who points me in the right direction...

    I think most folks would suggest searching YouTube for tutorials on these.

    The short answer is Geoshells are "copies" of the parent model but slightly offset (offset can be adjusted).  They use the same surface UVs as the parent so you can apply textures in a similar fashion.  Under the Parameters you can turn off individual groups.

    LIE is layering images on top of images in the Surfaces tab.  You can access this by clicking a texture image and selecting "Layered Image Editor" or whatever it was called.  Then you "add a layer" and load another texture on top, using the math option to determine how it's applied.
