Animating the T-Rex

Howdy! I purchased a T-Rex and created a complex animation which ends up with his head inside a logo I'm making for the Air Force. During the animation, I was trying to move the main body but could not figure out how to make the feet remain still. If I moved the body, the feet moved. Is there any way to lock the feet in an xyz position so the body can rock back and forth? Would have been helpful to have him take a step and have his body react to the weight shift without moving his feet back to square one making them appear to not move.

In which application? DAZ Studio? If so, with the Universal Manipulator active (Tools>Universal) select both feet (click one, ctrl(Win)/cmd(Mac) click the other), and then click the push-pin icon on the viewport widget and click both Pin Translation and Pin rotation. Now select the hip and rotate it - the feet should stray in place while the legs bend. You can also move one foot and the other will stay put, the rest of the body adjusting (within reason), allowing you to rough out a walk sequence.

    Carrara 8.5 be the tool. I wish I could find a push-pin.
