After saving a support asset figure/prop asset... how do you load it in a different scene?

Did you save it into one of the content folders mapped to be used by Daz Studio? If so, you can navigate to that folder in the Content Library pane and double click on the thumbnail to load it, just like any other asset.

When you saved you should have had a regular file dialogue pop-up - that is saving a preset for loading the asset. The location of the actual asset files coems via the names entered in the option dialogue, not the file dialogue.
