Animated render progress reset back to zero?

Hi

My animated render progress was at 99% and it tooked 1 day and 6 hours to get there   i watched my screen and assume it is about to finish and the render progress just reset all the way back to the start to 0% in front of my eyes!

The rendered video is no where in my folder, What gives?

The progress bar goes per frame. If it's taking that long you may want to go back and optimise the scene's lighting and other settings, or make sure that the assets fit into the GPU memory (assuming this is Iray).
