old problem, after I had Iray rendering working

I was chruning along working with Iray. Now I can't get one Iray render. for 2 days I haven't had one Render come out evey without a camrea. I folled Render Tutorials, nothing worked. What would be nice is if I was able to have the basic Render so I could have a master render. that I could click on it., and save that setup for a startup working Point. I was able to do some Pretty decent stuff, but what ever happened won't let me render. what I get is The render window before it starts rendering. in within 2 seconds it done, with the blank render window, with the info at the bottom where to save and name it and no image. for 2 days that is what I get. it makes me feel like a dummy. (don't say it ! ) if I could have a starting set up that I could would say Master Iray starting setup. I would then have starting Point to start working with. I was able to move the lighting around in difference areas after a few say of rendering now nothing..I don't know how I was rendering fine, Now I can't render anything, even without using the camera, I went over every Tutorial I could find!

Create an empty scene, add a primitive, add a texture to it, add a camera, turn on the headlamp, and render. If that is all black that is a problem.
My images, There is no image at all just the square with small lt grey squares where the Image should be over top of. I';ll di that, what ever it takes thnks., Im going out and eat, i'll try that as soon a I get back
OK, I got it Rendring in Iray again, I know I don't have the setting right, but now I can start figuring out how to get very good render. I think the problem might have been the flood light. Something I'm surprised is that when you get a good render of a picture the saved picture with it render imformation isn't nesseary kept. It seems that if you open that seem again but rename it the setting will be kept But its to bad there isn't a place to hold you settings. I know every picture mostly needs to be tweeked each time, but that gets you a solid base to start a new render. When a picture is very different then, that doewn't work. I saved all the savings I liked, I still had a baicis with a good start. I love Iray, but it not the way an artist look at lighting, Iray is more searhing for numbers, insead of, looking at a scene and adjustment more visually than 10 different dials to get were things you want to happen. But it sure does Render well.
