iv made a custom character for a togruta female from star wars, ive got her head including all body, plus some head props for her head tails etc - the question is how the f@@k do I import them into daz3d 4.5 and make them work, .............. ive used v4 model sizes for above
any ideas would be appreciated as this info would go a long way into future designing

can all who are pro or have knowledge of this get back to me asap because Ive tried a few possibilities and none have worked..
First off, is this a new complete character or did you just model pieces that you want to use (which is not the correct way of doing things)
To make a character for V4 (that uses V4 bones and rigging so you can add V4 clothes to it, you need to create a morph which means you modify the mesh but without adding/removing polygons.
Then you can load that as a morph to V4 i DS and save that morph out.
The other way, if you have made you own character you need to rig it in DS and also you need to create all clothes to it as it will not work with clothes rigged for another character.
