    Holy cow!

    I thought he must have died years ago. He was definitely a 'name' in movies, thought most in the US probably didn't know it.

    Never heard of him. Still sad that he's gone. I hate seeing people die even though it's a fact of life.

    When I was a kid, one of the local TV stations used to run Kung-fu movies (he/his company made something like a bazillion of them) on weekends/late nights...that's why I'm familiar with him...and Blade Runner (his company was instrumental in making it).

    I must admit I would have guessed he'd died a while ago. A real blast from the past!
