For those who may be curious what I've been up to.

    Yup :-) "Aliens approaching"

This started as a remake of a 'found model' nobody seemed to own on the 'net ... turned into much more of a "my model of" using screen images for reference ... that's why the arms are not screen kosher ... or yet ... have to think on that for awhile ... made the tread [oh that was fun] ... and no it's not going to go 'round and 'round. I'm planning to provide shading domains so one can make the illusion of movement changing the colours on the tread. Presupposing it gets released ... have a quirky question ... does anybody know who actually owns the copyright/trademark on this robot? Why I ask is I recall about 5 different folk/companies claiming so, and I don't think so. And/or if the real whoever owns said copyright/trademark has any known attitudes [for lack of a better word atm] concerning fanart such as this to be released? Why I ask is the apparent lack of available stuff out there ... just in case there's a reason somewhere along the line that I missed.

Unless I redo the arms, there's just a few more tess lines to add and then the grouping and uvmapping in Hexagon.

In other words, if there's any other major oversight or desired whatever, this is the time to say ;-)

No wip render yet ... but did move the arms to a better position and remade said section of the body tube to accommodate a closer to screen type edition.

I've also noticed that there 'was' a previous release of the B9 but it a long with all the artist's other fanart was pulled from sharecg.com. Other website links which may or not have had goodies have long since vanished ... and over at turbosquid there are a few Lost in Space items actually being sold. [just in case anybody is interested]

The spaceship over at R works well as far as I'm concerned. There are a few differences [to be expected] from the screen model but nothing insurmountable.

Left to do now: remake the arms so they can be longer/shorter using morphs, grouping and uvmapping. Sometime next century ... uh, hmm ... well maybe by month's end.
