Your renders are likely dropping to CPU for some reason. make sure you have the latest Nvidia drivers, that your settings incluide using your GPU etc.

I have the latest - problem is they only go to 425 not 430. Daz has finally run my system out!
I could render 4 scenes overnight with 4.11 - now with 4.12 CPU only I can do 2 so to be its a complete backwards step unless we are getting into the territory with Daz3d of - new version...get a new computer!
They really do need to state it in bold letters about the minimum driver requirements.

I agree that the site should clearly state minimum driver requirements and RAM capacity.  I don't use iRay much, if I do, it's only to render a realistic 3D character, that's about it.  Otherwise, I rely on 3Delight, since I am producing animated 2D cartoons.

latest Nvidia sdriver is 436.30 released Sept. 10 2019.

Always get your drivers from Nvidia directly do not use Windows update for this.

  • Have the latest driver installed and with v4.11 was getting rendering speeds of 40f/m on images 3840 x 2160 using full iray. Now, with v4.12 my speeds have dropped to 8f/m, something I just can't live with. Does anyone know how to go back??? Wish I had read this thread before the "upgrade"...not happy.
