Multiple Select still not working

This is one of my biggest frustrations with DAZ Studio.
If I want to use dForce I need to select everything in the scene that is not influencing the drape. This is done by selecting the node and its children and setting "Visible in Simulation" to off. However, I'm now using 4.12 and it is still not possible to multi-select all the children and switch to off. If I do that, the first in the selection list is switched off but the rest remain on. Consequently the simulation takes far longer than it needs to. I then have to select each and every child node to turn it off which is a massive PITA.
Why oh why do they not make the default OFF?
Comments
OK - I might have stumbled on the reason.
I am using the Scene tab to multi-select my nodes but when I look over at the Parameters tab, only the first of those is actually selected. What needs to be done is to also multi-select those nodes (children) in the Parameters tab and then switch "visible in Simulation" to off. I still think it is a bug that whatever is selected in the scene tab is not reflected in the paramters tab.
Also, I think that selecting a root node should apply any changes to its children and then the individual child nodes could be switched back on individually. At least that makes more sense to me.
In the Parameter tab click the options square and make sure Consolidate Properties is checked, ath the bottom of the tab make sure Show Sub Items is checked.
In the Parameters pane option menu make sure that Consolidate Properties is checked and Show Separate items is unchecked.
That damned Consolidate Properties thing trips me up every time! One day I will get it etched in my brain to check (or, rather, uncheck) that.
