i was surprised, as the picture show,
the program ask me to add a library, but that drive suggested is wrong !
the suggested library exist on drive "F:/" and not on "D:/"   and is already in path list
I just refuse to add that phantom path,,

  • I'm not sure what you're showing in the image (other than the popup from Studio). The items on the left do not look like you're showing your Content Library. Can you explain what you're showing?

Probably because there is "Library" in the folder name. Yes, best to just ignore it, I would say.

  • Yes, this pop-ups once after a new version is isntalled if you have a content directory set for one content type but not the other - it is mildly annoying, but just make you pick and you won't see it again until the next DS update.

  • The message is from a script placed by DIM (which I remembered0, but I had the way it works wrong - it lists all the content directories DIM knows and when the script runs on DS' first launch after an update (or initial install) it will pop up that prompt for any that are not set as Content Directories in DS (under both DS and Poser Formats, in my experience, as in my own reply). The idea is to make sure people can actually find their installed content in DS, soemthing that has been a problem with customised directories in the past.

  • for info
my "X_Library" is my main Daz library, where all characters are stored, and its on separate HDD named F:/

on D:/ i have many small dedicated library, but no "X_library"

The function is just making sure that the active directory in DIM is not accidentally missed from DS, it doesn't matter what is actually isntalled to that directory.
