Ok... I can no longer get Michael 4 to load... Log files say this:
Loading Startup Scene : C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Runtime\Libraries\Character\DAZ People\Michael 4.dsb
Executing DAZ Script file: C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Runtime\Libraries\Character\DAZ People\Michael 4.dsb
WARNING: Script Error: Line 1
WARNING: SyntaxError: Parse error
WARNING: Stack Trace:

Error in script execution!
Don't know what this means exactly, but should I uninstall /reinstall him? and if I do, will I lose the scenes and characters that I have already created?

The PowerLoader script, which is what I think you are running, isn't meant to be run directly. try loading the Michael 4 CR2 file from that folder and it may work.

Tried that as well... tried to download it as an actor, from the file, from smart content, from content library and specifically clicked on the cr.2... but nothing is working...

Do you get the same error in each case?

As far as I have seen yes... I am a true newbie and wondering if I messed with something in trying to get some 3rd party content in the right spot or clicked on something I shouldn't have in trying to figure some things out with the parameters and trying to save things...I don't mind having to uninstall and reinstall him, I just don't want to lose one of my characters using M4 that I have all of the parameters set where I want... I don't want to have to do all of that tweaking again...

I got to studying my "Actor" and it has the little scroll symbol at the top, which I take is a material? I couldn't find him as an actor anywhere else, so maybe the base figure is gone or deleted somehow?

No, that just means there's a DS script, in this case the Powerloader script.
