Just tested if I could get Second Copy to make incremental backups of .duf files. It can be set to watch folders for changed files and back them up as soon as they change as well as keep up to 25 old versions of the files it backs up.
Seems to work OK if you can find the right setting for retrying the backup (the first try will fail as the . duf file is locked during save). I've used 30 seconds delay here but you may need to set it higher with scenes which take more than 30 seconds to save.
