a valid postgreSQL could not be established

Hi!
I've been away from Daz for a while. I just got a new machine so I'm installing all over again. It won't show my smart content and gives the following error:
a valid postgreSQL could not be establishedSeveral DAZ Studio features that require a valid PostgreSQL CMS connection
I turned off the firewall. I uninstalled and reinstalled.
I'm running Windows 10.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

Is PostgreSQL installed? (you may have up to four versions listed in DIM, plus the Valentina to PostgreSQL converter, you need just one of the four installed)
I installed it now, but I don't understand why DAZ would require some additional software. It's saying no database found. :(
PostgreSQL is used for the Contnt Management System. The database it wants is the list of products installed. You may want to go to the Content Library pane option menu (the lined button in the top corner, orr ight-click the tab), select Content DB Maintenance, check reimport Metadata, and click Accept, then have everything checked in the next dialogue and again click Accept.
Good morning Richard! :)
Thank you for helping me. I tried reimporting Metadata. When I click on the login, it tells me the same message. I think a couple of things I just bought might not work unless I can get this figured out too :( I hope I can figure it out.
PS
I think I have figured it out! Downloading and installing PostgreSQL wasn't the right answer. It needed to be installed within the Install Manager.

I can't think why the install method would matter, but I'm glad you were able to get it working.
