  • Yes, very much!  I have bought many other things to get the look, when really I just want a skeleton figure :-)

I thought about using the dragon skeleton but it's not quite the right look. ;)

I'd love to see a skeletal horse in Daz store.

I've considered doing one, but it requires either accurate modeling skills I'm not sure I'm up for, or spending a HUGE amount of money on assets you might be able to convert that's free to use commercially. (IE: a horse skeleton object)

At the time I looked, I think the only freely usable models didn't look very good. And even if the good models were available it's something on the order of hundreds of dollars.

I had a similar experience with human anatomy stuff.

    Bah

Yes I see your point, would be a difficult task. That said I think it would sell. :D Also it needs to be able to pose. We have a grim reaper that with the right clothing would look awesome on a skeletal horse or even a partial skeletal horse. Maybe sort of a zombie type horse would be easier to pull off. Need to be able to clearly see skull bones and ribs with some bony legs. It may work.

On the gripping hand, we also have the example of Binky — he's a perfectly ordinary-looking¹ white² horse, if you overlook his habit of not walking on the actual ground, or leaving trails of glowing hoofprints.

    1. His master had already rejected a skeleton³ horse, "since he had to keep stopping to wire bits back on".
    2. White, not grey.
    3. The fiery horse was also a non-starter, it kept setting fire to his robes.

Interesting! Almost Harry Potter style imagination. I noticed Terry Pratchett in your signature.
