V4 clothes not working

I've had this problem for some time but never said anything because I got the V5's and V6's. But, I would like this solved. I have V4 base; V4; and V4.2 and none of the clothes for these models work on them. For instance, I have the Jeanz V4 and the V4 Domino, and the V4 diving gear. None of them work at all on these models. When I try to use them on the models I don't get any error messages, I don't get the little menu that would let me fit it to the models, nothing. I have tried to fit these clothes to the Genesis model and nothing. Neither do they fit any V5 or V6 model. If anyone can give me a hint as to why I would greatly appreciate it.

    Clarify 'does not work'. Do the items show up in the scene tab?

    That was a good question. I checked, but no, they do not. It's as if the clothes were not meant for V4 or Genesis.

    It sounds like you are trying to load the materials for the items of clothing and not the actual clothing itself. Where are you loading the item from (content library path, for example).

    The Jeanz for example is in:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ\Studio\Content\People\Victoria 4\Clothing\Jeanz V4
    I looked for a jeanz.obj in my Geometries folder and did not find one so maybe you are right. Maybe these are the morphs. There are a lot of them in this folder.

    Well, I figured out the jeanz at least. The actual jeanz were in a very obscure place. When I tried them they worked great. So, now I just have to locate the others. What a pain in the ass. I don't know what DAZ is thinking sometimes. Thanks for your help.

    Try this route, then the actual jeanz will load on V4.

    Nothing to do with morphs, those are definitely the DAZ|Studio materials for the Poser-format clothes models — almost all V4 clothes will have the clothes themselves in Poser format, then after you load the clothes you add the D|S materials (note that not all V4-vintage items will have D|S materials, many will only have Poser materials).
