I have been hearing a lot about how good IBL is. But all the products seem to be for Poser. Is there an IBL light product for DAZ?

EDIT:sorry, I have now found a bunch in the shop. Anyone recommend any? I don't know which one to pick?

Actually, doesn't Uberenvironment2 have IBL? It's supposed to be included in DAZ Studio Pro but I don't see to have it in my installation

Recently the lights and shaders have been split out from the Genesis Starter Essentials zip. Did you install the Default Lights and Shaders package?

Yes, I did install that separately. UberSurface and UberVolume appear in my content library. But still no UberEnvironment...

Should be in DAZ Studio Formats\Light Presets\omnifreaker in your content Library pane.

Nope. Under that folder I only have folders called Alchemy chasm and SphericLabs

Oh wait...maybe I installed it wrong.

I wish bloody DAZ would be consistent about the level you have to unzip to! This install ZIP starts at Content and it looks like I unzipped it to Studio instead of My Library.

    Aargh!!

EDIT: nope. still not there :(

EDIT EDIT: God what a mess my damn content library is now! It is there, but now it's in a folder called content under My Library and Light Presets are under that! So it's not with all the other Light Presets.

    Get your act together DAZ!!!

Thing to remember Content and My Library are 'equivalent'...in other words, they should never have one of the other named in them.

So in Windows Explorer (or what ever your OS file manager is) highlight/select the all the items in the content folder that is inside My Library...right click and Cut. Then move up, in the file manager, one level to the My Library folder...right click, Paste....and if asks about overwriting or merging...merge.

In all DAZ Studio ZIP files the TOP folder Named CONTENT is the place holder for the NAME of the content folder you use. The DIM installer automatically replaces it with the NAME of your content folder as listed in your DIM settings. To avoid errors in hand installs only the FOLDERS BELOW the Content folder in a ZIP file go into your CONTENT folder which is normally named My Library or if using DIM is named My DAZ 3D Library.
