Hair converter

Ok, so I'm not tech savvy when it comes to directories and what not. I bought Genesis 3 to Genesis 8 hair converter and haven't been able to successfully use it at all. I'm sure it's my ignorance but if it's more complicated than select your figure and double click run script I'm lost. I tried reading manual but it assumes I know more than I do about files and directories. Can anyone give me a simple step by step?

    Let's see....

    1. First thing is creat a folder to put your new hair; this is no different that any other folder you would create on your computer; I put my in the People > Genesis 8 >Hair > Converted Hair (I created the Converted Hair folder).
    2. Create an empty scene.
    3. Add a G8  unmorphed figure to the scene.
    4. Next, open the script, and tell the script that is where the hair goes (Converted Hair))
    5. In the script, select the G3 hair from its appropriate folder and add to the window of hair to convert: the hair has to be a character/figure or hair figure and not a prop.
    6. Select that hair in the window, click the Force Convert button.
    7. Quit the script....
    8. Done.
