Smart content changes in 4.12? How do I Fix

I downloaded 4.12 , this over wrote 4.11. When it did it changed my Smart Content feature. Before I could browse by catagory and load into scene.

Now It just allows me to get commercial information about the products. The only items I can load from it are my own creations. 

I did finally get the catagory menu to show up, but nothing is able to be loaded from there making it hard to find some items. 

Any suggestions on if there is a way to get it back to the old way?

    Smart Contnt should be working, and is for me. Please post a screen shot of what you are seeing. One common gotcha is the install State filters along the bottom - All, Installed, Avaialble (meaning not Installed), Updates, and Pending (things that are actively being processed) - if the one you have selected is empty the item list  itself will be empty.

    it suggested before upgrade Daz always "EXPORT USER DATA" (in case you use specific changes)

    to restore smart content
    clean the "smart content" and then use the "RE IMPORT METADATA" include "user data"
