Importing BVH animations isn't working for me

Hello!

I'm new please help :) I'm using 4.12 and everytime i try import a bvh file to the figure it looks very very weird.

I followed some tutorials but they are all from older versions and I'm wondering if that's why mine isn't producing the same results.

Here's a link to the bvh file if you'd like to try https://drive.google.com/open?id=1bSvvtwVXokqjoNuuTuBYstzfw_C103w6

I add a G8 figure

from the scene panel i select children and unlock all and turn limits off rotations

have hips selected and then import the bvh.

and then it looks like this...

I've tried all the different generation figures possible and they are all providing the same result.

G8 has a somewhat unconventional bone structure. Try it on a different generation to see if you get better results.

I opened your file in a text editor, and it doesn't look like it's been retargeted to G8. Where did you get the BVH from, and is it targeted for a G8? If not, I think the cheapest way to do that is Reallusion's 3Dxchange, pipeline version.
