need help to get my motivation back ;-)

I ^_^ I have been a big fan of 3d studio for years but it's really getting me down now , I keep it updated and I find that I can't use it as good as before .... well I got the new 4.12 pro and it should have bundled Genesis 8 ; I was very anxious to see the new product and see what was different ;-) but it won't show up when I look for it ... and there some more issues on other files that don't work :-( :-( are you guys all ok ? I seem tohave lost interest in using Daz studio ;-( anyone elese had the same problem ? .... mind you I'm not using it professionally so I'm dedicating too much time , tried with the tutorials but that won't help ... Thank you very mich in advance for any hint ot help :-) :-)

The Genesis 8 base figures are included in a separate file called Genesis Starter Essentials. it sounds like you haven't downloaded or installed those.
If you can't see other products, you proabably don't have the correct paths in the Content Directory Manager inside of Studio. This part of Studio hasn't changed since at least Studio 4.5,
or they could make life easy for new comers and link the DIM on the main download page

Thank you ;-) but I did do what the DIM "asked" .... and I also downloded the SW manually plus the Genesis 8 which I did download as a separate files did not show up in any menu in Studio :-( it is getting difficult to track all the products .. some ( by default) install in the runtime dire and some othre not it seems so difficult to ahve the files organized :-( :( ... I always install the files with the DIM so the install as the default paths I don't have any custom path ... :-(
@McRenArt
If your DIM Installation path and your Studio Content Directory Manager paths are identical, everything should show up in the Content Library Tab within Studio. Installation paths from most PAs are logical.
I have attached screenshots off my Content Directory Manager and My DIM Installation tab. You can see the matching content paths.
Mine look slightly different , but may be due to the fact that I m using os X :-)
Thank you this should solve it .... hopefully
