Sims to Daz conversion

I played around the last few days with my old Sims 2 figures and the Face Transfer program in Daz 4.12.  I had interesting results.  In some cases it comes over pretty good.  I screen capture an enlarge Sims face in Body Shop (without hair), trim it down in Photoshop.  In most cases the face comes out a little bright when transfered to Daz so a little tweaking with Photoshop will take care of that.

Years ago I made Sims of some people I knew using a graph system they had at the time.  I really didn't want to start from scratch with Daz because, first, there's no graph, and second, you need to know some things about biology to know what slider goes with what small part of the body.  Using the Face Transfer makes it easier.  I skip a lot of steps that way.  There's still some tweaking involved.  The draw back with Face Transfer is the face in placed on the figure's face with little modifications to the chin, cheeks, and mouth.  I have to find profile pictures to figure out how far the lips extend, postion of the chin and cheeks.  But again, it's still a lot easier than going from scratch.

Just wanted to share this little bit of info to my fellow Dazzlers.
