No Hair on Felidae by AM - Lion - SOLVED

I'm not getting any hair/mane on Felidae by AM - Lion or any other product with hair for that matter. I recently got a new computer, reinstalled everything, and nothing comes up with hair. I don't know if I need to do something with dforce hair or a LAMH product. Any help would be appreciated. I need to install something?

    Discovered that I will get hair by using the Dforce add-on. So it's the LAMH that isn't working. I have several versions of LAMH, I am not sure which is the correct version to use. If someone can help me with installing LAMH properly I think I will be good. Thanks!

    First question: do you have the full LAMH product or the free LAMH Player?

    If you have both then make sure that the Player is not installed, as it interferes with the full version.

    LAMH hair, by default, is visible only with 3Delight renders.  There is an 'add-on', Catalyzer, which allows the results to be used in Iray (if the hair has been so setup by Alessadro, which this has).  You can export he LAMH hair to .obj or fibre (not sure if the free LAMH player permits this or if you need the full product) which permts Iray to pick it up, but that can be very heavy on memory.

    I have the Catalyzer, do I just reinstall that? Or do I install something else too since it's an add on? I just need to know which versions to install. I know you will have issues if you install the older versions.

    Hello, install latest version 1.8 through DIM. After that, if you haven't activated the plugin yet, follow the instructions here: https://www.alessandromastronardi.com/blog/lamh2iray-catalyzer/

    After that, you are ready to go, load the Lion Catalyzer model and render (using the render button in the Catalyzer pane.

    I knew I had something messed up... turns out I failed to re-register Catalyzer when I re-installed everything on the new computer. I still have issues with hair on some products but they are not related to this thread. Thanks for the help, wasn't sure where to start looking.

    Ugh, I just bought this and was disappointed that the mane was not visible. Buying an extra product will evidently (hopefully?) fix the issue, but it should be listed as a required product. I've never had any luck in actually getting the LAMH plugin/player to actually work, so hopefully I won't need to return these. :( It's a gorgeous model in the promo shots.

    EDIT: if you buy the separate plugin, you can view the mane. You have to render via the plugin, rather than as a normal render but it will work. Evidently the dForce addon will work as well, but I couldn't tell from the product information if that would need the Catalyzer as well so I didn't buy it. I'm trying a first render right now but it's sitting at Threading Completion 75% so I many need to restart and try again.

    And it works! It really is a gorgeous model.

    The mane is part of the model, so it has to be visible (by that I suppose you meant visible in renders).

    if you bought the Felidae- Lion and you have LAMH or the Catalyzer installed the model has to render as in the promo images, with mane and all.

    Or, if you prefer using Daz dForce hair, get the Lion dForce addon  which doesn't need any LAMH plug-in.

    I just bought the Lion yesterday and it won't load with a Mane. I don't even know whhere to start. I got a new pc and intalled Daz on it today. is there something I'm missing in order for the hair to show?
