How to set background color to transparent when using "Preview Render engine"?
PS: The background color of the output image is transparent when using "3Dellight render engine"
but not transparent when using "preview render engine".
But the image output will be no transparent when using "Preview Render" sometimes!!!

You have to save the image file as a PNG or TIFF to get a transparent background.
JPEG does not have a transparency channel, and can not show transparency. The preview render mode (viewport) only uses OpenGL, to see a full render including shaders and transparency, you need to use 3Delight.

Thank you,JimmyC_2009.
I did save as .png files.
I did find that it has something to do with the "viewport render".
I want to know how to set up "transparent backgroup" when using "viewport render".

If your GPU Graphix CARD does not support it you can not do it. If saving as png is not making a Alpha layer your card does not support the function.
Thank you, Jaderail.
