How to Hide the item 'frame'?

Sorry I know this is a lousy question but unfortunately I don't know what the thing is called so I can't search for it. I want to hide the frame thing which appears whenever you click a body part or item, which has the directional cube inside it. It makes it really hard to edit facial expressions as the thing superimposes right over the face of the characters.
