Currently using philw femme fatale hair, if I want the hair to look proper when it's upside down, how do I do that?
If I'm looking at it objectively, it seems like the hair has some kind of setting hidden somewhere where it doesn't want to allow any deformation up to a certain length from the base. What is this setting called and where do I find it?

This is just a guess, since I don’t own the product, but dForce has “influence maps” that allow you to set how much different parts of a garment react to dForce simulation. Maybe the hair has such a map applied with 100% at the tips of the hair but less than 100% at the roots. That would probably limit the amount that the hair would bend. (Would make the hair more realistic in “normal” orientation, since hair has an inherent stiffness. You wouldn’t want it to completely collapse onto the head.)
I see, do you know where the influence maps are inside daz studio so that I can verify if an influence map is present and if it’s having this effect?
Any idea at all where to look?
Select your object, Create -> New dForce Modifier Weight Node -> Accept. Select the Node Weight Map Brush tool and open the tool settings tab (mouse cursor with a gear icon) and add the weight maps you want to use and modify. My guess is the "Influence Weights".
If anything is unclear, do ask. :)
