Help Edit Geometry in Daz Studio 4.11

Good afternoon, first of all, excuse me for my bad English but I am using google translator because I speak only Spanish.
Well, I'm trying to edit the geometry of a skirt in Daz Studio 4.11, or rather, join the vertices of the skirt mesh to the legs of the model and then smooth the folds of the skirt so that they are just like one plain fabric (I know that what I am saying is not very well understood, and that is why I left an image below of what the model looks like now, and to its right another of how it should look). I tried the morph options that the skirt brings, but what you see on the left is the closest to the result I am looking for (which is still far away).
Browsing the forum I saw that someone recommended using the Daz Studio bridge to Hexagon 2.5, and the first thing I noticed is that the pupils of the model's eyes were not passed. Still I edited what I needed and selected it to use the bridge between Hexagon and Daz, but my surprise was disastrous, since the dress appeared in Daz without its morphs and the model could no longer be placed (or Sakura 8 base if you prefer to say so like this) automatically as before, but it would have to be done manually.
I have these two ways to achieve the best result, but with none I am getting results.
Also in Daz I try to select an object (for example, the belt) but the lower part of the chest dress is also selected
(también dejé una imagen sobre ésto).
I hope someone can help me, since I can't find a post about this and I don't have tutorials on YouTube.
Regards.

  • A morph cannot add or remove parts of the model, or belnd two models, it can only reshape a single model.

The eye issue on the base figure is because the Transparency settings are not sent over.

  • La idea es poder escalar la malla una vez este adherida a un modelo, y seleccionar uno de los elementos morfables. Lamento contestar esto en español, pero desde este aparato no puedo usar google traductor.
  • You should be able to scale, though the result may look odd. I'm not sur what you mean about selectign one of the morphable elements.

Debería poder escalar, aunque el resultado puede parecer extraño. No sé qué quieres decir con seleccionar uno de los elementos morphables.

  • I mean for example select only the belt of the second image and not everything that is marked in yellow.
In addition, Daz does not let me climb on only one axis when the dress is attached to a base (as it is in this case Sakura 8). Or is it possible to scale on only one axis in another way?

  • Try enabling Show Hidden Properties in the Parameters pane option menu - that is the lined button in the top corner, or right-click on the tab itself. I think that will give you the individual scale controls.

    Ok, thanks.
And how can I edit the vertices of an object?

  • Vertex movement? That can be done with dForms (added from the Create menu) or Push Modifiers (added from Edit>Figure>Geometry>Add Push Modifier) and weight-maps applied to them (Create>New Push Modifier Access Node for Push Modifiers) by selecting Influence Weights in the Tool Settings pane with the Node Weight Paintbrush Tool active. You can also use an external mdoelling application on an exported OBJ (make sure you hide everything but the one single item you want to edit) and importing the result with Edit>Figure>Morph Loader Pro or Advanced.

  • Thank you very much, it worked great.
But I still can't move objects while they are attached to others.
For example, in this image I am trying to get the shoes down so that they fit with my feet, but it does not let me move them, only the axis moves.
How can I move the shoes one that are attached to the base ?.

  • Where is "Node Weight Paintbrush Tool" ?

They should fit better than that since they are made for the figure, assumng you haven't dited the base figure's rigging. You could try adjusting the bones of the shoes - thefigure node does get locked on translations as I recall.

Sorry, Node Weight Map Brush tool - in the Tools menu.

    I appreciate the answer.
I had another problem with those same shoes; on the left side of the screen it appears that they have several styles (with more tip, with less tip, among others), but when you double-click them or drag them to the shoes, absolutely nothing happens, or rather, the shoes do not change of form (they are forms that brought by defects the shoes). What is this about?
Another problem has also happened to me; Some objects load without textures (for example Hitomi Hair) and are Daz's internal products. What is this about?
    Regards.

  • The shoes have morphs, you should be able to set those by selecting them and looking in the Parameters (or Shaping) pane.

Some items do load without textures - you should be able to apply them from presets (which saves loading a set you don't want).

  • Really thank you very much.
Now last when I render some things obtained from Daz (in the first image) and others created by a friend from scratch (second image) there appear white dots whose reason I do not understand.
    How do I solve this?
    Regards.

  • I think those are reflections of your lights, or of the bright spots on the HDRI if that is how the scene is lit. The hair is certainly quite smooth and glossy. The fix is generally to adjust the surface settings so the surface is less shiny and/or more rogh, or to soften the lighting (for example, with spot or point lights by making the shape larger in the parameters).

  • Thanks.
