I'm not skilled in 3D object creation... but, have been dabbling with Unity3D to create a game (I'm a hobbyist at best). I know Unity 3d has an Asset store where I can buy 3D objects for my game... I was wondering if I could buy something from Daz 3D and export it to the Unity 3D environment? I believe you can with Autodesk 3ds Max. I'm such a newbie in this 3D world.
Thanks!

Nothing that you buy from the DAZ 3D store can be used in a game unless you buy the Game developers license. Even then that only covers products which are DAZ Originals, it does not cover PA items, although there are one or 2 PAs who have a separate Game developer license for their products.
. You can only use those products which are covered by the game developers license in new games, they cannot be used to add to exisitng games.
You're best off buying content from the Unity3D store, those items are already optimized for the game engine.
Go to Share CG and look for assets that have the Unrestricted Use license. They're essentially public domain. There's lots of good stuff there under that license.
But rendered images and animations of items sold at Daz3D can be used in Unity3D, as far as I am understand the EULA
and got answers about them earlier at Daz3D forums.
Yes 2D rendered images are OK, but not the actual 3D mesh. The OP was asking about the products themselves.
