Separating morphs into Head/Upper Neck & Body?

Hi all,
I looked, but cannot find the answer. I bought a character to use just the head, but the morph is all-in-one. In the latest DAZ Studio, I've saved two versions of the character as Morph Assets, one with just Head and Upper Neck checked, and the other with everything else checked. Did I save the right thing? If so, how do I find or load these morph assets? If I didn't, what is the procedure?
Thanks so much for any help!

In order to save a morph asset the morphs have to be available, it isn't a way to split xisting morphs. What exactly ddi you do in the save dialogues?
File, Save As > Support Asset > Morph Asset, and just checked the parts I wanted to save the morph for. I realize now that I was baking it into the base, so I removed what I did. After playing with it some more, I found what I need to do to save just the morph, but as you said, there's no easy way to separate it.
There is a dForm preset included with DS that has a weight map just the head and neck - you can export the morph as OBJ, then reimport through Morph Loader pro and use that weight map to attenuate the morph so you get only the ehad or only the body, with a smooth blend. However, any JCMs or jont adjustments wil need to be reapplied so it may be a decidedly non-trivial taks in some cases.
Thanks, RIchard! That sounds like the road ahead for me. This is important enough that it's worth whatever necessary effort.
