Ok, after all my stuff got deleted...I manged to get the root DUF files back

What I'm trying to do, those DUF files were saved in the C drive hard drive, but my content I installed back on, it on another

I'm trying to figure out how to get those DUF files to open again

When I do, it'll load (the daz loading scene) and the error of

An error occurred while reading the file, see the log file for more detail

I am assuming it's because those duf files were originally saved to the C drive, while the content is in my F drive

If they were saved inside a DS-format content folder, then the paths are all relative, so having your content on a different drive shouldn't cause a problem. If they were saved outside, then you'll need to edit the .duf files to correct the absolute paths -- they're plain-text files or compressed with a zip algorithm, so any unzipping program can uncompress them.

Does the log give any more details on the problem? Unable to find files messages are usually much more informative.
