G8 male issue

Whenever I load a g8 male figure several other character's morphs auto load into it and I have to remove them via dials. What would cause this?

That you have installed a character that uses these morphs, and erronomously has set them to default.

It is not something I have ever needed doing but my understanding is.

If it is a DAZ character checl for product updates.

If not, load a G8M and look in currently used morphs. Then you should be able to click the settings icon and go into those unwanted morphs and change the default value to 0. But I think you need to resave the morphs with unchanged name.

But Richard might chime in - he is an expert in this - or maybe somebody else.

Pretty much right. Of curse you could also just unisntall the problem items, and you should certainly let the creator know it has an issue.

One candidate with dial-in morphs and unwanted "default=1" is "Dalton". Other known candidates with own morphs which are only active in certain positions of the character (jcm) are "Krampus","ManHippo", "Toonboy", "Ozias", "DemonHD", "Lycan HD". But I think there have been updates for all these characters which solve the issues.
