Which hairs?

Does anybody know which hairs are used in the promos for these characters?

    It looks like SAV Semiramis hair at rendo;)

    Well Ariella is def a SAV hair from rendo.

    Thanks for the tip, cho. If I'm reading the description correctly, it looks to be a Poser product that does work in Studio, but...and here's the sticking point for me...it doesn't sound very Bryce friendly. Too much reliance on SSS and other weird stuff I don't understand. Besides, it looked shorter in the promo pics. One just can't have floor length hair while struggling in a post apocalyptic world. Thanks again and I'll keep looking.

    Yes I don't know about the 2nd hair at all, as you say the one suggested is a very long hair, and the promo's don't show any indication of that. The Ariella one was easier to identify, and if I am right it is actually a male hair, but has fits for V4 and others. If it is the one I think it is then it is called Mitchel hair, or something similar

    My thoughts exactly, though I thought the Rieka hair looked more like SAV's work than the Ariella hair did, but I couldn't find anything in her store that looked like it. I also think the Ariella hair is SAV's Mitchel hair.

    I agree the Ariella hair is Mitchell hair by SAV but I also think Shanina is right about the other hair, I think the long tail is hidden behind the model, if you look at the promos carefully you can see where there is hair behind her shoulders.

    Lord Ganthor I don't know about DUF files and DS but with the shaders etc and the SSS talk its I think to do with render times, with DS uber shaders can turn off Oclusion and raytracing which speeds up render times, for Bryce you could just apply the DS default shader and it should work fine in Bryce.

    Judging by the way the bangs curve, I'd say you're right.

    Vaskania, I'm pretty sure it's SAV's Semiramis, take a look at the third pic of the Rieka promo, you can just see the long hair at the back
    ..... I have the hair and the front look just like it, gorgeous hair btw;)

    Thanks for all the advice and pointers everybody. After much soul searching and though I decided to go the cheap route. Namely, I found a couple of hairs here at DAZ that I think will do for me. Besides, when these things start going for $4 and $5 a piece, I can't pass that up. I had some store credit here and over at Rendo I'd have to pay *gulp!*...cash! Too little of that these days to go around spendin' it on toys!

    My only excuse is It's high summer here and I think the heat is frying my brain, even with aircon I have the attention span of a gnat;)

    Thanks for the suggestions, yes it must be Semiramis and Mitchell hairs.

    BTW, the forum is doing strange things to my initial post, there were two different links now they're both the same?

    They were both the same the first time I looked at the thread, as I did wonder at the time why you had posted 2 links the same, and as you can see Shanina only answered the question about the one hair as well in her first post.
