Carrara 8.5 pro Mac(64-bit) will not load any models

I installed Carrara 8.5 pro on Mac as well as all of the content via the DIM.

Here are the steps I take to get to the issue:

1) Start Carrara
2) Double click the blue sky scene (have tried others as well)
3) Click Browser tab
4) Click Content tab
5) Browse the tree to Figures>Daz People>Victoria 5 (Michael 5 does the same)
6) Drag the thumbnail (I used both, but we'll go with Victoria 5) into the instances tab on the right

At this point it brings up a dialog box to search for a file. I don't know what file I am looking for. It tells me "Please locate the default repository (folder runtime)" but if I select the runtime folder found at User/shared/My Daz3D Library/Runtime it causes carrara to crash. The same thing happens regardless of what folder I select. I've tried browsing to the victoria 5 folder, but there are no files that I am able to select there.

Hopefully someone can help me figure out what's wrong. I'm dying to play with the software.

    I think that location points to the DSON for Poser version of the figure.
    You should load from My Library/People/Genesis

    I ended up deleting the ENTIRE folder of content that was there when I installed and added the folder Users/shared/My Daz3D Library Now I have MUCH less content than was listed there prior. I truly hope that I did not lose all of that content, but at least I can use the software now.
