Fit Control for Genesis 8 Male

image

I have tried everything to get this product to work.

Running the script takes an eternity (well actually about 5 minutes, which seems like an eternity in DAZ Studio - nothing takes that long except maybe dForce).

When it finally finishes running, the item of clothing that was checked does not have the Fit Control morphs anywhere in the Parameters pane.

I tried it on a G3M clothing item, as well as a G8M clothing item. Neither has the morphs when the script completes.

Is anyone familiar with this product? It seems very simple from the instructions.

I really want this product to work. So I will keep trying.

Which version of DS are you running? I noticed that after 4.12 was released, it stopped working for me in 4.11. I also purchased the Add-On product around that same time, and don't remember the exact sequence of events, so I can't say for sure which is the cause.

I'm running DAZ Studio 4.12 now. I just purchased the Fit Control product, so is it possible it doesn't work in DAZ Studio v.4.12?

    Does it work in 4.11?

Both Fit Control itself and the addon work just fine in 4.11. It does take a while to run, and this can vary according to what clothing and hair you have on the character.

Also, running the G8M version on G3M's clothes shouldn't work, as far as I know, if that's what you did. There's a separate version for G3M.

You should try bringing this up in the commercial thread for the product: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/317361/fit-control-addon-coming-commercial

The vendor monitors that thread in a way that he doesn't necessarily do for the entire forum, so maybe he'll be able to help you with your issue there.

Thanks. I might do that. The script ran on G8M with no luck using the G8M Lumberjack Outfit. Maybe I will try it on a couple other outfits before I give up.

    The product page states:

"Load clothing from a different gender, or even ones made for older generation figures, Fit Control works with them all."

So that's why I also tried it on a G3M clothing item. I was under the impression that you can run the script for any clothing generation, as long as it's being worn by a G8 figure.

Oh, OK. I didn't realize. I have both Fit Control G3 and G8, so I just assumed both versions were generation-specific. Sorry about that.
