How to clear the enviroment pane? * Resolved*

I often add BD photos into scenes via the enviro plane. If I wanted to remove it I would just switch back to none, resave the scene re load it and it would have a blank backdrop. Now it stays solid white no matter what. I cannot see any HRDI's is there another way to clear it?
Edit it open with no BG on my PC tower

Check the GUI colours. From the Menu, Window->Style->Customize Style. In the popup go to 6. Viewports and check if the colour is white. If so, click on the colour selector to change it. The default is 68,68,68, or whatever shade you'd like...
I Tried that and it rendered a solid backdrop like I said ince I loaded on my PC it was blank again..
Environment Type: Backdrop of any colour (or image) will show in the render, and in the Viewport. Environment Type: None will render blank, and Viewport background does not render, but you can set it to whichever colour is easiest to work with. You can set a preference (F2 - Scene) to Ignore and/or Record Backdrop Color and Image settings, among others.
