Sun-Sky Only

Hi,

Background:

I set up a scene using Sun-Sky Only. Unfortunately to get the lighting I wanted on one part of the scene it left ugly shadows in another. I switched to Dome and Scene. Long story short I noticed, then, some other problems such as cracks all over the head, https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/357941/hair-cap-causing-cracks#latest

By the time I'd got over that hurdle, I'd not even noticed that the beautiful light from the 'Sun' was gone. I had the light filling the previous shadows but the rest was pretty dull.

Question:

So, Is there a way I can quickly replicate the Sun-Sky Only setting with the Dome and Scene settings?

By the way: Why can't you have Sun-Sky AND Scene? It doesn't seem unreasonable.

Thanks

If there is no HDRI in the Environment Map then Dome and Scene will be the Sun Only settings but will allow fill lights to be used in dark areas.

Oh, you're right,  Sandy! I hardly ever use the Dome, Sun, but I was doing an outdoor scene. Oh good grief! it would have take a few seconds to change the Environment map to None!

    Thank you!
