[Update Meta-Data]...If that is what I need to do, I cannot remember how to do it.- or find the correct tab.

I purchased some more product, downloaded and installed, it, but none of it (about 15 items) is appearing in my content library, when I restart Daz.

D-Manager says it is installed.

  • Do the entries in Install Manager (I assume that's what you mean by D-Manager) have ticks next to them in the Database (lined cylinder cion) column? If not they don't have metadata to reimport.

The Reimport Metadata option, if it is relevant, is in the Content DB Maintenance dialogue which you can launch from the Content Library pane's option menu (lined button in the top corner, or right-click the tab).

    Thank you for replying,

I still cannot locate these items, even though install manager says that tehy are installed.

Usually, after purchase, download and install, they just appear.

...or after I refresh, by closing DS, and reopening it.

    This time, nothing.

  • Just a thought since the descriptions from your screen caps seem to be older products, but check your "My Library" - "Poser Format" folders.

  • They don't have metadata, according to that, there's no check in the column in your screen shot. It's possible that PostgreSQL wasn't running when you installed, certainly I just BRC Empathy installed through Connect and the files all have tags and are categorised, in which case try uninstalling and reinstalling (making sure that PostgreSQL is running).

    I'll give tha a try.

I did uninstall onw product, but it did not appear.

I assumed PSQL was running.  I'm not sure how to check if it is or isn't.

I can uninstall all the product, and try again a few times, if I have to.

  • If you are using Windows you can use Task Manager - click the More details button at bottom-left (if you haven't already), then look in the Background Processes list in the Processes tab.
