  • What is your driver version? DS 4.12.0.x requires 430.86 or later. You can check by right-click on the desktop>nVidia Control Panel.

Don't take this wrong… But take a deep breath and try to relax. I've been in your shoes, and I know the stress can make it harder to find a solution.

Okay, 4.12 uses an updated version of Iray from that in 4.11, and because of that, it needs newer drivers for the video card. The minimum recommended is 430.86. I tend to stay away from the very latest drivers myself, but anything from 430.86 up should do. For Daz Studio, it doesn't matter if the drivers are "Studio" or "Game Ready". If you also run games on your computer, though, you'll probably want the Game Ready Drivers.

Here's the link to the Nvidia Drivers Download page.

Keep in mind, too, that when Windows runs updates, it will frequently substitute it's own drivers for whatever you have installed, making it a good idea to keep that link bookmarked!

No problem. I just wish I'd seen your post sooner!

And I'm happy to hear things are working as they should!
