Need help with Urban Future 4 Psy District

Hello, I bought stonemasons Urban Future 4 and the Urban Future 4 Psy District recently, but I can not get it to work. Is this for 3Delight only? There is nothing about it on the product page. Or am I missing something?

When I render in iray I only get a black window. Also the camera settings don't work like they should, because the screen ratio is not changing.

It renders fine for me. In the "Scene" tab, are any lights showing? Are they marked as visible?
I don't understand your camera question, I've never had the screen ratio change with a camera. You change it in the Render Settings tab.

The ratio should be 16:9 . Well ok of course I can change it manually, but it shoul change automatic. All the lights are there and visible Do you render in 3Delight or Iray?

I don't owe either product (Urban Future 4 or the Urban Future 4 Psy District add-on) but based on what's included, I'd say it's set up to work with 3Delight. You can make it work with iray with a bit of work. You can increase the lumens on the lights and add an HDRI (you'd have to toggle off the dome, though). You can also use this product to automatically change all the materials to iray: RSSY 3Delight to Iray Converter.

There's a Readme linked on the product page.  That will tell you that these products were released in 2011 and 2012, long before Daz adopted the Iray render engine.  They weren't referred to specifically as 3DL materials, because back then there was only one set of Daz materials. If any product only shows "Daz Materials" or "Daz Studio Materials" something like that, they are not Iray materials.  If it doesn't say Iray on the page, or have the Iray logo somewhere on the promo images, then assume that no Iray materials or Iray lights are included.

The https://www.daz3d.com/rssy-3delight-to-iray-converter will get you most of the way there, but it includes a limited number of shaders, and you may need to make colour adjustments to the shaders included and use additional shaders to get the look you want.  It looks complicated, but it's not terribly hard to figure out.

Just a suggestion, try turning your camera headlight on. If that sheds some light on the scene, then for some reason the renderer isn't seeing the included scene lights, and we can go from there.
I usually render at 6:5, it doesn't change when loading the scene. Some artists force the render settings to change, some don't.
And yes, urban future 4 is 3dl, and rendering it works. It's a little on the dark side, but I suppose that's the intended mood.
Personally, I would prefer that the render settings not change.

Urban Future 5 does have iray and 3dl settings, though.

Ok thank you! I have Urban Future 5 also. Just wasn't sure if I'm doing something wrong
