Thorn Hair and Beard for Genesis 8 Males

Just purchased this product, and found rather quickly that if you open the G8M's mouth, the sides of the mustache come off the lip. Anyone else notice this?

Okay, try this, load a fresh G8M, on the parameters tab select anything for his face - right-click, edit etc or tool options - to enable "follow" ... then apply the mustache. And hopefully it will then follow the mouth.

Well, I wasn't quite sure what you were wanting me to do. Not sure if I got there, but it didn't fix the issue.

Okay ... ran through the steps with another product. It's a right-click option to enter "edit" mode, select all by holding down the shift or control key and clicking on the ones to select. Then right-click and enable auto-follow.

And then, like yours, the hair products don't always "fit to" right away, so in the viewport, right-click on the hair product and apply "fit to" ... should then work.

Still having trouble following, sorry, I'm being dense.

I select my G8Male, and go to parameters, then drill down in the Actor section, then pose control, and find cheeks and jaw. I right-click there and enable edit mode. Then I select all the items under Cheeks and Jaw, then right-click, and enable autofollow.

The beard was already fit to properly. But I re-fit it to G8M. But the problem persists. So I fit the beard to none, then re-fit to G8, still no luck.

So I deleted the beard, loaded a new one, still no luck.

I tried three other beard and mustache products, and they all work as expected. looks to be a problem with Thorn only. I'll try uninstalling and re-installing.

Uninstalling, deleting, and re-downloading and installing did not change anything. The product seems defective. I opened a ticket.

That's the way to go then. CS is good. Store credit is good.

If you look at the beard in the scene tab and expand it to look at the bones, does the beard have a lower face rig? If not then that’s the issue. It’s a fairly easy fix. With the beard selected, open the drop- down menu on the scene tab and choose assets - transfer utility. Choose G8m as the source, the beard as the target and ‘none’ as the projection template. Click accept and hopefully now the beard will follow expressions. You would need to resave it as a figure prop asset to save the changes.

I was hoping that someone else with the product could tell me if it works properly for them. I don't want to have to fix things that should already work. But I do appreciate the replies.
