Stalker Girl Guns issue

I wasn't sure if this went in nuts and bolts or not. My Stalker Girl guns install is badly messed up. It doesn't show in Smart Content first off.

Second off, when I go to products in my content library it is messed up. The first time it was just blank. I fired up the DIM, uninstalled it and reinstalled it. Now it shows the poses for v5 Subtle Poses and nothing for the stalker girl guns set at all. I've never, ever seen this happen before.

Is this a content database problem or something wrong with the actual download?

Sounds like a corrupt database to me.

    1) If you have custom categories and haven't exported user data recently, do that first, so you can restore the categories that are still working.
    2) Close DS and uninstall CMS.
    3) Reinstall CMS by running the installer in C:\Program Files (x86)\DAZ 3D\DAZ3DIM1\cms (if you have DIM installed) or by reinstalling DS. That will give you the latest CMS, which will reduce the chances of the problem recurring.
    4) Search for the file ContentDB.ind -- if you let CMS install to the default locations it will probably be in Program Files (x86) or ProgramData. I would search your entire hard drive with "Hidden and System Files" visible, in case you have more than one set of databases, which could also cause problems. That file is the index for the database.
    5) Stop CMS and delete ContentDB.ind, then start CMS and launch DS. Let DS rebuild the index -- it might take a minute or two.
    6) Scan for new content and categorize it.
    7) Close and restart DS, and see if the categorized items are staying. If they are, you should be good to go.
    8) If newly-categorized items are still disappearing, close DS, stop CMS, and delete all the files in the databases folder. Restart CMS, launch DS, and re-import metadata to get your user data back. It can take a long time, so don't panic if it seems to be taking a long time and the progress bar isn't moving.

I tried this and it didn't fix it. This includes deleting the database and reimporting all metadata. Stalker Girl Guns for Genesis still looks empty. I went ahead and manually downloaded it and checked the files in the zip versus my Public My Library and all of the files appear to be there. However, to Daz it appears to be empty.

This forum topic shows someone having the same issue as me though with one of merlin's products:

    http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/34451/

That screenshot is the exact same thing I see, with a blank area under the product folder and the product not being in smart content.

Well, I can get to the product under Daz Studio Format-> My Daz 3d Library.

I don't think it is a database issue. Here are the steps I've taken:

    Reinstalled CMS
Totally deleted the database and had Daz rebuild it.
    Reimported meta-data.
Deleted the products meta-data from the product view and reimported just its data.
    Uninstalled and reinstalled the product.

None of it has fixed it. I'm thinking perhaps the metadata on this product is jacked up? I have no idea how to check it. I know when I look under database maintenance it shows it under products but shows nothing under the assets tab. That's about as far as I've gotten.

Does it show in Smart Content or Categories (it should be in Default/Props/Weapons and Default/Poses/Props and Accessories)?

Is this the DS4.5+ version or the Poser version?

DS 4.5 version. When I looked in DIM it has the little check mark for Smart Content.

Can you post these 2 screenshots: . .
    1) In DS, Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Content Directory Manager, expand the "DAZ Studio Formats" and "Poser Formats"
    2) In DIM, on Ready to Install tab check the "Show Details" box in the lower right

Sure, I figure I'll explain a couple of things. I keep Daz 3 around for non-Genesis content bought from 3rd party websites like Renderosity. I load it in there, categorize it, then migrate the database into Daz 4. I just find that lets me keep things nice and organized.

Likewise if I buy a product that it is a .DUF or for Genesis 1 or 2 from a third party I install it in the my library located in my documents instead of the one that the DIM installs to in public. This is mostly so I know specifically where to look for that type of thing.

I just thought I'd mention, I had a download for the guns in my DIM today and afterwards they showed both in products in the content library as well as in the smart content pane. I guess whatever that download was fixed it. Actually, I had downloads for all of the Stalker Girl products I have except the head-wear!

I forget the exact details, but we did update all the Stalker Girl sets to have consistent folder structure and to clean up the meta-data.
