Catalina and OBJ files

Whie booted to Catalina, can anyone open OBJ's (from other web sites) in DAZ? They are greyed out in the Ma'sc Search window when I search inside DAZ? But they show just fine when I search inside other 3D programs.

Is this the General Release? There is a known issue with the import dialogue in that, it is fixed in the current Public Build https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta
The Beta version did fix the problem - Thanks
OK, well I'vw downloaded the Beta update and get nothing but errors and none of them will install. The Beta version shows that it is installed and finished in 3 seconds, but notice how it looks compared to the other Daz components. The others, say there is an "Invalid Path". Do I need to completely uninstall my previous Daz3D 4.11 first?
You can have the beta and general release installed on the same system.
They don't share settings though, so that the beta changes don't risk to impact the general release. So if it's the first time you installed a beta you may need to update the preferences so it can find your content.
There's a script which can copy the settings from the general release to the beta, it might help: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/comment/4262841/#Comment_4262841
