Product missing icons and failed install...maybe?

So this happens from time to time. I get a product that..used to work...no longer working and it loses its icons/thumbnails.

I uninstalled and re-installed and the problem persists.

This is the screen shot.

 

And this is the error from the log file.

    Apparently, there's a syntax error of some kind.

    Where and what fixes that?

    What's the plan B?

  • The files are not decrypting as they should. What soemtiems works is

    1. Uninstall
    2. Go offline
    3. Find the product in the products list in the Content Library
    4. Right-click on the container and select Delete
    5. Go on-line again to refresh the metadata
    6. Reinstall

    I would try closing DS after step 4, but I'm not sure it's necessary.
