I *think* face transfered character breaks my scene

I created a FT version of what was suppose to be Jamey Sheridan. I have had no problems having 8 or 9 characters in scenes in the past. Since using this one my scene crashes on both my machines when I attempt to iray preview or render. I swapped out the FT character for a regular G8M and it ran without a problem..

Did you save the transfer?
Yes. What I am saying is I suspect using the FT character may have caused the crashes since it does not when I swap it out for a regular G8M character. Wonder if its more memory consuming im not sure why. Anyhow my workaround was to render it in 2 parts. 1 with 3 characters imported that into enviro plane then matched lighting and rendered the remainder of the scene.
I don't know why it should be - though, how big is the source image? I can't recall how the size of the final maps is affected by that, if it is at all.
